A peaceful and wild escape near the Atlantic I had a wonderful stay at Draaihoek Lodge & Restaurant. The staff were incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming. The chef is truly talented — dinner and breakfast were both excellent, with impeccable service throughout. My room was very spacious, perfectly comfortable, and set in a peaceful natural environment. The lodge is nestled just behind the dunes — you can’t see the ocean from the rooms, but a short walk through the dunes (where you might spot springboks!) brings you to a stunning viewpoint over the Atlantic. From there, I saw dolphins, seabirds, and even whales. The beach itself is wild, full of charm and birdlife. This is a hidden gem, ideal for a quiet getaway or a family retreat when the weather gets warmer. Highly recommended!

The isolation, the silence, the stars and the endless beach (with) seals. The tent was well equipped, fridge, hot water, multiple power points and the bed was very comfortable.They helped with lowering the tyre pressure on the Hilux for the short drive over the sand to the tent. Internet available from the top of sand dune (MTN). The Vodacom network is stronger.

Great home with all amenities making the stay very comfortable. Property is directly across the beach and excellent for morning walks. Property also features a pool table. The host was super warm & welcoming.

Fantastic views of the ocean. Great facilities - it really is like home away from home. Everything thought of, clean and functional. Safe parking, comfortable bed, well appointed kitchen and bathroom, washing machine, barbecue area on the balcony (with sea views). The hosts, Ebba and Willem, are friendly and welcoming. Beautiful place, beautiful people! We'll definitely return on our next visit to Lambertsbaai.
