Communication with owner was excellent.

We went for hiking nearby, so we wanted a hotel that is comfortable but not fancy because we will only sleep there. The hotel was very clean, well maintained, and quiet, meeting all our need. Staffs are very friendly. Restaurant was great. Food are quite nice. They seem to specialize on cordon bleu because one third of the menu is dedicated to different variation of cordon bleu (made my partner very happy).

Virgil, our host, was an exceptional young man whose knowledge of the history of the area as well as the hotel made our stay all the more special. Views across the horizon, our own back garden, modern bathrooms in an otherwise quaint facility the BEST buffet we have had in our many visits to the area. A true gem. A must- we will certainly return.

It was a self check in, and the instructions were very easy to follow. I stopped here for a day while doing the Haute Route hike.
