Try the fried or braised chicken with alloco (fried plantains) and attieke (grated cassava). Ivory Coast is a French speaking country so English is pretty limited. However, we managed with our Haitian Creole. We decided to extend our stay and pay at the hotel (which was cheaper). You'll meet several vendors walking by to sell you artisan items. We bought several things - be sure to haggle. There is not wifi in the garden rooms - just FYI. Yango (like Uber) can take you were you need to go.

The property is gorgeous, with a little walk you are right on the beachfront, and you are right next to the french quarter which is perfect for going out, restauration, and the Abissa festival! Precieux was super helpful with everything we needed, and they were flexible with our checkout and letting us leave our bags for the next day. It's not directly on the beach, but the property is lovely and the beach is right next door.
