Hotel Santiago is located in Hendaye, just 3 km from the beach, and offers an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant which is open for dinner. Free WiFi access is available. A very friendly welcome when we arrived. Our room was very spacious and clean and overlooked the pool. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was fresh and tasty set up in a light airy room. We reserved a table for our evening meal served in a different dining room with bar. We were really impressed with the food and would highly recommend eating at the hotel. This was probably my favourite hotel on our road trip. It offers excellent value for money and the location was perfect for catching the return train to San Sebastián, well worth a visit.

Hôtel & Espace Bien-être La Maison du Lierre is located in Biarritz, 300 metres from the beach and 5 minutes from the convention centres Bellevue, Casino and Gare du Midi as well as 100 metres from... Location was central and near a local park which was lovely.

Completely renovated, the hotel consists of three village houses, 35 rooms spread over 3 floors, and plateaus in the heart of the most shopping district of Biarritz, Les Halles, is a lively and green... We are a family of five with three teenagers and stayed for three days. We stayed in teh appartment, which is a separate building just across from the main hotel building. The flat was on two levels, with a double bed and three single beds. It had a small patio out front which was actually wonderful, in that we could sit outside and drink wine or coffee and enjoy the sun and the very central location. The beds were very comfortable! The hotel is very central, a block from the market and a grocery store and surrounded by restaurants. The staff were very friendly. We did surfing lessons every day, and the surfing was about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. For beginners, Biarritz is fantastic for surfing -- very good predictable waves, and many options for rentals.

Beautiful, well equipped apartment. It is a ground floor annex to the adjacent house. Access at the very bottom of the cul de sac. Very useful to have both dishwasher and washing machine. Nice decking area at the front where you can sit and hang washing. I struggled initially to find the key safe box because I was looking by the main house. The host was very responsive and gave further guidance (in French). Good WiFi.
