The hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating, giving us extra time for check-out, which was a big help when traveling with children. It truly felt like a home away from home.

Our stay was wonderful. Our host, Anne, was kind and always willing to help, even when we asked her to raise the heating one evening! The place is in a great location, near a bus stop, a supermarket, and the sea, which was our main highlight. We loved staying close (a short bus ride) to the city centre but away from it; we visited during the holiday season, and everywhere in the city centre was crowded. The apartment is beautifully decorated and well-equipped. Anne thought of everything: besides the essentials, there were games, maps, some welcome chocolates, and a lovely small Christmas tree to cheer us up during our visit. We will certainly stay in Anne's place again on our next trip to Edinburgh.

The property was immaculate and very comfortable. Communication with Gillian from the very beginning of the booking was prompt and efficient. Sinead and Chris are probably the best hosts in the world. I slept across the hall from the kitchen / breakfast area and they were able to be very quiet! It's 1min walking to the beach and 3min to the bus stop. The bed was so comfy. The shower nice and hot. For breakfast you can have the usual plus some scottish options, all delicious. Felt safe the whole time as a solo traveller (including bus trip at night). 10/10.

The nearest airport is Edinburgh Airport, 14 km from the property. The breakfast was outstanding. Lynne fullfiled all our wishes. She and her husband Rob gave us many good recommandations for our day trips. The view from our room was beautiful.
