As I have been numerous times to Makassar and also know the other Hotels which play in the same league (e.g. the 4 Star Hotels located at the seafront),. the Hyatt offers a way better, more luxurious experience for the same price. In my opinion it is by a large margin the currently best choice for a stay in Makassar.

Ge JacMart Homestay Makassar bevindt zich op 4 minuten lopen van Strand van Losari en 41 km van Bantimurung Bulusaraung National Park, en heeft kamers met airconditioning en een eigen badkamer in... We had a nice stay with Marlah and her family. She helped us with everything we needed like renting scooter, laundry services and taxi. Also the homestay is located in a very good location surrounded by good choices to eat and near a boulevard, so you can go and see the sunset :) the house was very lovely and tidy, and also our room was big enough. And lastly, the breakie was so good! Thanks for all!

It’s an excellent place to stay with our young family. It was in the middle of the city which make it easy to travel around town.

Akasha Beach Club ligt in Bulukumba, op een paar minuten lopen van Pantai Tanjung Bira, en biedt accommodatie met een terras, gratis privéparkeren, een restaurant en een bar. Absolutely fantastic place – easily one of the highest standards you’ll find on Sulawesi. Yes, the price is on the higher end, but you get what you pay for: everything works seamlessly, the service is outstanding, and the staff are genuinely exceptional. They’re also great at arranging local boatmen for custom-made snorkeling trips and excursions to nearby islands – all at very reasonable prices. The beach is well-maintained and largely free of plastic, great for swimming and spotting the occasional fish. For the more impressive snorkeling, you’ll need to go a bit farther out – the easiest way is to hire a local boat that picks you up directly from the shore. We stayed in the suite, which is enormous and comes with two incredible private terraces. Nice views. The only thing missing? A shared swimming pool would make it perfect. Only two rooms have a private pool - not the suite.

Swiss-Belcourt Makassar bevindt zich in Makassar, op 7,8 km van Gowa Discovery Park en 11 km van Museum Balla Lompoa. The location is strategic and not noisy, even though it is in the city center. No sound from the mosque. Good for light sleeper like me. Cek in / cek out is very fast and efficient. All the staff ( Front desk & house keeping ) knows how to keep customer back. Thanks Guys!! Would love to stay again in future.

Aston Inn Pantai Losari Makassar is centraal gelegen in Makassar en beschikt over een buitenzwembad en gratis WiFi in het hele hotel. De receptie is 24 uur per dag geopend. I stayed here twice in the space of a few weeks. Both times I found the bed extremely comfortable, really quiet room, and it had the all-important kettle for making coffee in the morning, not to mention a small fridge :-) Staff were so lovely and the breakfast was superb. Great location for walking to the seafront area in two minutes, and plenty of restaurants nearby.
