Alek, the owner, is very available to help us to find the best guide to do a trek in the jungle during 3days to see Orangs outang and other monkeys. He helps us to do laundry, find a taxi to arrive and to leave Bukit Lawang. We visited the bat cave, the market on Friday and the recycling factory near the homestay. The room was comfortable, the bed was very big and comfortable too, with a mosquito net. You can swim every day in the river just in front of the guesthouse with a lot of local kids. There is a restaurant in the homestay or around. You can ask what you need to Alek, he knows every body in Bukit Lawang;-) Thank you Alek for your welcoming.

Santi, Martin and Robi made me feel welcome from the beginning. The Bungalow was surrounded with beautiful trees and very close to the pier where I enjoyed my morning swim. The Bungalow has everything you need: hammock, sitting area, moskito-net, even a kettle and plenty of water. It's clean, comfy and you can listen to the sounds of nature. Santi, Martin and Robi had a lot of knowledge and they are happy to help you to make you stay as enjoyable as possible. I will come back for sure - it was such a Paradise 10/10. Terima kasih banyak!

Sahnan Guest House ligger i Bukit Lawang og har en have, terrasse og restaurant samt gratis wi-fi overalt. We stayed for 4 nights in the really great Sahnan Guesthouse run by Andri and his family. The rooms are functionally furnished and offer everything you need. However, you shouldn't expect European luxury. It was a perfect 4 days for us. The tours to the bat cave and the 2-day jungle trek were great adventures and are highly recommended if you have enough courage and a very good basic level of fitness. Andri and his family made our stay particularly enjoyable. The food was always excellent and the always open, friendly and supportive nature of all the hosts made us feel almost at home. Andri speaks very good English so that the organisation of all tours and transport was very easy. We would recommend the Sahnan Guesthouse to anyone and would love to come back when we are in Sumatra.

Amazing 2 days jungle tour with one night in a jungle cam, and we were very lucky to see with our guide around 10 Orangutans 🦧 and other animals, monkeys and many wildlife… thank you very much for this amazing experience with you…
