The location was amazing, I was traveling from Taiwan, it was the bestest time and holiday I could have ghokarna and Areca nest made it possible. the host Ankit was amazing he made it very comfortable for me and my partner. Areca nest Is a very warm place. Everyone is very friendly among the neighbor hood too. Must visit and look for Areca nest and Ankit.

This place is definitely one of the most awesome hostels I’ve ever stayed in. The hosts are just really cool and relaxed guys who include everyone and provide a magic experience on a quiet part of the main beach of Gokarna. Every night they organised some kind of games (from poker, to mafia over or music sessions that let you feel like home. Everybody is welcomed to join, nobody is forced to. If you just want to relax l, you’re also able to do so. The dorms are super tidy and cleaned every day. The common area is inviting and let you either hang out the whole day or just a bit in the night either how you prefer. The beach is directly in front of the door step and the sea amazing to bath in. The food is really pleasant for a fair price and you want to try ally of it. I recommend their Shakshuka and Gobi Manchurian. If you have the chance to stay at this special gem at the coast of Gokarna, don’t miss it. You will definitely not regret it. Thank you so much guys for this unique experience. If I ever come back to South India, I’ll make sure to visit you again. Here I felt like home far away from home.

Receptionisten var imødekommende og meget venlig. Vi kunne efter endt ophold, benytte stedet til opbevaring af bagage og fordrive ventetiden med både kolde og varme drikke. Bordtennis og billard var et plus Værelset og stedet var rimeligt rent

Beautiful architecture and thought into its design and layout. Use of natural products and it fused so naturally into its environment. The bedroom villas are wonderful! Very spacious and felt like our own private apartment with great views over the lake. Outdoor showers were a treat. We also like it’s eco-friendly and the environmental focused approach. The whole retreat was serene and peaceful. Emphasis is on quiet contemplation with regular meditation and yoga sessions. The food preparation and choice was excellent. The staff were all friendly and attentive. We will definitely be returning to experience this place again.

I had an amazing stay at Illa by the Sea. The room was massive, luxurious, clean and beautifully maintained, truly beyond expectations. The location is absolutely fabulous, just steps away from the sea, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. We also had wholesome breakfast that added to the overall comfort of the stay. What made the experience even better were the fantastic hosts who take care of the property. They were warm, attentive, and even arranged a drop off for me upon request last minute. I’m already looking forward to visiting again. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top notch stay away from the hustle bustle of city in Udupi!
