I received an upgrade to a room with the beautiful sea view. Location is a very short 3-minute walk from the bus station. Very convenient. The beach at the back of the hotel provided a very relaxing stroll any time of the day!!!

The staff was so friendly and helpful, even with the language barrier. They really went beyond! Stayed in the single room, it was minimal and clean, with all needed. Was able to use the sauna and onsen, at no extra charge. The location is amazing, with an amazing view. The terrace view is breathtaking! However a little outside of town, so might be hard to get access to without a car/bicycle. The shared bathroom was extra clean, and the onsen was amazing, with several free amenities. If you're travelling alone, the single room is a great option!

I stayed here with a friend while I was visiting Kinosakionsen, Yuko and her family were extremely nice and welcoming! The house was beautiful, homely and had everything we needed, it was exactly as the name implied. The town and surrounding area are a must to see in Japan and if and when I return, I will definitely stay again! It's slightly further from the town center, so it's perfect for cycling and sightseeing, I recommend to anyone visiting Kinosakionsen!

It was such a wonderful stay at Guest House Hitotomaru. The rooms are beautiful and the town is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature. I had the Sashimi set which was exquisite. It is also near to the supermarket and the bus stop. The staff is very friendly and kind. The ambiance of the facility is very pleasing for kids. The dolphin stuffed toys were very cute. The view of the sunset is very beautiful right outside the balcony. It’s a perfect accommodation for small families who want to prepare home-cooked meals.
