This place truly felt like a dream, with a tranquil river, waterfall, luscious greenery and the faint hum of animals and nature. Our stay in the air conditioned treehouse was exceptional, with futons that, while firmer, offered a uniquely comfortable rest. The seclusion of the spot made it feel like a private slice of paradise. The river and waterfall were so serene that I could spend hours simply relaxing on their sun loungers by the edge. There is also a cafe across the river that is run by a wife and husband duo that is only accessible by walking or driving on a path through a scenic rice paddy. It had sushi, pizza, noodles and more that was delicious and worth trying! The lodge also offers a range of riverside activites such as saunas, bike riding, a fire-pit for evening relaxation, and water rafting. The rafting and the peaceful moments floating in the river were core memories from my stay and a must try!

Spa and Resport Hotel Solage Oita Hiji ligger lige ved kysten og tilbyder indendørs og udendørs varme kilder med panoramaudsigt over Beppu-bugten, 15 minutters kørsel fra JR Hiji Station. The breakfast tasted so delicious, Mr Taro from the front desk suggested it and very resonable prize. During our stay my niece was poorly, she had a fever and the night staff 2 japanese men rang the hospital for us. He even type the hospital location to my sister’s car because she struggled with reading kanji. They were all very helpful to us,they lend their thermometer even put a translator for my husband inorder to understand him. I have had a problem connecting with my sister to pick us up from the Umi Jigoku and Mr Taro was talking to us in English and all the staffs were all very helpful. Mr Taro even left the desk to ask our my niece was. Please give him an award or praise please. Many thanks to all the cleaners the onsen lady for private family bath.
