We really enjoyed our time at Rancho Esperanza, and wished we had allotted more time for this neck of Nicaragua! Gwen, Tom and Anna were wonderful hosts, with clear communication, absolutely delicious food and a wonderful location right on the beach. The pole cabin was very clean, had a great little porch for us to chill out on and the room fan was very powerful:). We liked how there were surf boards and boogie boards for rent (10 and 5 per day, respectively), how cold drinks were a quick one-minute walk down the road and how the menu was quite extensive for such an out-of-the-way location. We had the beach all to ourselves every time we went out!

Tapas & Surf ligt in Petacaltepe met uitzicht op de zee en heeft een restaurant, een gedeelde keuken, bar, tuin, buitenzwembad dat het hele jaar door open is en terras. The beach is at your doorstep. The cabanas are spacious and clean with a nice big bathroom. The food was so delicious and the piña coladas are phenomenal!!!! The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the owner even came up and personally introduced himself. 10/10 experience

Super friendly owners helped us out everywhere they could. Very far off location but amazing for just hanging out. Also beautiful beach and such sweet pets around the property
