Beautiful views, excellent staff and we loved all the natural beauty of the property. Would stay again on my next visit to Omeptepe. The playa mangos bar and restaurant was wonderful and just a short walk away. We ate breakfast at La Sirenita up top on their covered deck and was delicious. Loved our casita, super comfortable and we slept better than ever. Can't wait to go back. I even had to take an online/interactive 3 hour class for continuing education, and the wifi was excellent the entire time. Sat on my deck overlooking Lake Nicaragua and had a fabulous Zoom class.

Amazing place amidst the quite and lush farm owned and run by the local family. The hosts were so welcoming, friendly and helpful, that it was such a pleasurable experience to stay at the place. Truly felt like home. Bungalows look and feel amazing, it is minimal, but gives everything that is needed to feel incredible experience amidst the nature. Food cooked by the owners at the Finca was super delicious! Everything was organics and sourced locally and directly grown at the farm. One of the best stays at Nicaragua so far, definitely recommended!

The location is fantastic, right on the shore of the lake and at the same time just a minute walk from the main road and restaurants in Balgue. The owner is very kind and knowledgeable too. There is a functional kitchen, two hammocks, chairs for the shore, candles for the night, and kitchenware too. Really has everything you need.

Hostal Así es mi Tierra ligger i Balgue, 12 km fra Maderas Volcano, og har en have, en terrasse og gratis privat parkering. We loved the relaxed vibe and how everything is set up and decorated, it's really really beautiful and we enjoyed just sitting around on our porch immensely! the location is great as it's away from the crazy hostel stuff but not too far with tons of great local places near by. Getting to all parts of the island from Balgue was ideal as well and everywhere you turn you see one of the volcanoes since you're right in between them. If you turn right from the place you get back into the main hostel area in a few minutes (on bike) and if you turn left you find really beautiful roadways and scenery and you can get away from all the "traveler" stuff. Cafe compestre is just down the street (2 min walking) where you can get a really really good cappuccino. My boyfriend also got a haircut across the street haha. The food they made us was so so so good (our favorite if we HAD to pick was probably the burritos, and they make some of the best smoothies on the island). we were also able to get our moto bike and kayaking through the family as well, and everything was a really good price and easy. On day 4 or so we found a hole in the tire which they fixed in just a couple hours and they didn't charge us which we really appreciated. There was a power outage one evening (it happens on the island from time to time) and they set us up with a candlelit dinner and we just loved that (picture below). The family who owns this are truly wonderful people and we felt really at home, possibly too at home as we were supposed to stay 5 nights and we stayed 9 or 10 😂. I usually got up early and worked a few hours in the balcony seating area with a coffee or smoothie, so can confirm working here is also no problem. For context, I was working fully online building a webpage with large files so internet needed to be really functioning well, and it was :)

Xalli Beach Hotel ligger i Altagracia, 0 minutters gang fra Playa Santo Domingo Strand, og har en have, en terrasse og en restaurant samt gratis privat parkering. Everything! The room was bright, beautiful, we had a lot of space, air conditioning worked, the bed is so comfy. On top Naldon is always there when you need something. He is happy to help you with any problem. The rest of the staff are also so welcoming. We would come back any time. The Xalli enriched our stay on Ometepe so much. Thank you for that! :)

Hotel Restaurante Los Cocos ligger i Santa Cruz, mindre end 1 km fra Playa Santo Domingo Strand, og har en have, et fælles opholdsområde og en terrasse samt gratis privat parkering. Great location close to everything we wanted to do in Ometope - great beach just a 20 second walk away, visit el pital and the nearby hostels which was walkable, and a few tiendas and shops nearby. Room was very cool and also had two fans. Good price and nice staff.

Caballito's Mar ligger i Ometepe, 3,6 km fra Maderas Volcano, og har en restaurant, en bar og gratis privat parkering. The property has a beautifil lakeside setting with a lovely private beach, gorgeous sunset views, views of one of the volcanoes, very friendly and helpful staff and delicious food. They provide free kayaks too.
