Picton Waterfront Apartments offer spacious, modern, self-contained accommodation in the heart of Picton. Each apartment boasts a private balcony with stunning views of Picton Harbour, Marina and the famous Marlborough Sounds. This is truly a stunning place! The location could not be better. We were laying in bed at night watching the ferries come and go. Early in the morning we just hopped down the elevator to go get a coffee from one of the many coffee shops downstairs. After a lovely dinner (also just downstairs at one of the restaurants) we took a stroll down the marina. Everything is within easy walking distance. The view from the unit is stunning and exactly as pictured. The unit is super clean, modern and comfortable. The couches in the lounge were very comfortable and could fit our family of four easily and comfortably. The two fully equipped bathrooms were so convenient having two teenagers with us. Directions and check in instructions were clear and easy to follow. We will definitely book this unit again when in Picton. This was definitely one of the best, if not THE best place we've ever stayed in. Everything you could possibly need, were provided -from a box of tissues in the bathroom, to a hair straightener! Thank you for making our visit to beautiful Picton just perfect.

The air-conditioned accommodation is 200 metres from Picton Memorial Park Beach, and guests can benefit from on-site private parking and complimentary WiFi. We stayed unfortunately only 1 night in this apartment. It was one of the best we stayed in during our 6 week long trip. Everything we could think of was there. Very good location in the center. Good free WI-Fi. We had no communication with the owners except for the (automatic)message we received when booking. However everything turned out to work fine. The free parking in the yard was a bonus.

For your comfort, you will find free toiletries and a hair dryer. Te Mahia is a slice of paradise in the Queen Charlotte-Kennepure Sound. The location is a balm for your soul in the busy life we lead today. It is exquisitely beautiful but the locations beauty is surpassed by Trevor and Janet who were exemplified Kiwi kindness. As Canadian golfers pursuing the links, Trevor arranged for us to join a golf tournament at the Nopera golf course. This required a short boat water ride across the gorgeous sound by equally kind and generous Kiwis Ang and Christopher- who were playing in the tournament. While we scooted across the sound our guides pointed out features around the shore which were not in any guide books. Trevor arranged a delicious dinner for us upon our return which put the fresh in freshly caught. Our chefs were an engaging young couple who prepared a delicious meal. This place is not to be missed in any trip to New Zealand.

Flaxbourne Motels is located in Ward. Each room here will provide you with a TV. There is a full kitchen with an oven and a refrigerator. Featuring a shower, private bathroom also comes with a hairdryer. You can enjoy garden view from the room.

The property is a 35-minute drive from Blenheim and a 1-hour drive from Picton Ferry Interislander Terminal This is the best place I have ever stayed. Cannot recommend them highly enough. Owners are a delight and cannot help you enough. Please do yourself a favour and stay here. 10/10

We wish we could have stayed longer and highly recommend staying here while in Picton.
