Smiling Places - Guest House in Labruge ligt in Labruge, en biedt accommodatie met een terras of een balkon, gratis WiFi en flatscreen-tv, en een seizoensgebonden buitenzwembad en een tuin. There was nothing to not like. Everything was excellent, from our welcome to our departure hug. The room was beautiful, clean and even had laundry detergent! The dining room was airy, clean and well set up. Breakfast was incredible, so much food and it was all delicious. It was fabulous to have laundry facilities. Elisabete is gorgeous, a thoughtful and delightful host.

I stayed at the Spot Hostel while walking the Camino de Santiago and it was the perfect stay. Most of the rooms are private, but in the common areas you get to relax with other pilgrims. Fão, where the Hostel is located is a charming village and has restaurants if you don’t want to use the kitchen at the hostel.

Casa Fragosa - Alojamento local ligt in Póvoa de Varzim, op een paar minuten lopen van Fragosinho-strand, en biedt een tuin, rookvrije kamers, gratis WiFi en een gedeelde lounge. Place is great. It is literally on the beach. Beds have a lot of privacy even though it is a hostel, everything is very clean, fully equipped kitchen, supermarket nearby. Recommended.

DOBAU village is gelegen in Vieira do Minho met uitzicht op de bergen en heeft een restaurant, een gedeelde lounge, bar, tuin, buitenzwembad dat het hele jaar door open is en terras. Everything was excellent! I can honestly say it was the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. The staff were warm and welcoming, the room was very comfortable, dinner was delicious, and breakfast was outstanding. The views were absolutely breathtaking.

Mycasa ligt in Espinho, op 200 m van het congrescentrum van Espinho. Alle kamers van het pension zijn voorzien van een kledingkast. De kamers van mycasa zijn voorzien van een zithoek. Very clean and comfortable place right at the beach. The owner was very helpful and was available. Recommend highly to anyone.

Easily the best place I have stayed in my two caminos (frances and portuguese). Sparklingly clean, wonderful host who absolutely makes you feel at home. They helped me with everything I needed and also completely gave me space to unwind and decompress. Clean fully equipped kitchen, free coffee and milk, and tea, and snacks and treats for sale (chocolate, wine) and space in the fridge. There is an outdoor area to sit, but its so perfectly located - right on the camino when you first arrive in esposende and and just about a hundred meters from all kinds of shops, coffee, plaza etc. There is a laundry across the street with fast and good washer and dryer. I stayed an extra day and washed my clothes, bought hiking poles and a better backpack ( mine was terrible) - everything was available and easy to get too. I bought groceries and cooked and saved money that way. The room was suprisingly huge, and there was a blessed SPACE HEATER that kept my room nice and toasty in cold november. Truly excellent. If I ever come back to Esposende I will definitely stay here again.
