There were many thoughtful touches, including a Nespresso machine and a tea kettle. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we loved the French doors opening to the yard with a small seating area. The weather was too rainy to use the pool, but it is lovely...maybe another time. An added bonus was the furry host, Jesse, a sweet dog 🐕.

We had a wonderful vacation at Les Chambres Romantiques! For our April vacation, we wanted a calm, clean and beautiful place with nature scenery in the Aix en Provence area. Les Chambres Romantiques is exactly that! This is a small, family owned and operated business and you can feel they put their hearts and effort into creating a unique, high-end experience for their guests. Corinne and Damien live on the property and were very kind in helping us with everything we needed throughout our stay. The room was spacious, very clean and beautifully designed (we had a chance to see the other rooms and they were all very high-end with a modern, fresh feel). The Jaquzzi in the room is a huge plus, with high quality robes and towels. They have an outside pool with greenery all around. Note that you do need a car to travel around the region and to get to city center and back. You should also pay attention to the check-in time as the room are meticulously prepared for each guest (there is no lobby as again, this is a private property) I would absolutely recommend this place if quality and authentic experience is what you are after!

Breakfast was prepared every morning by the proprietor Florence. She brought in freshly baked breads , Ahhhh! Chestnut Bread!!! Each morning she went to the local bakery. We loved our accommodations, extremely comfortable and luxe. The grounds of this charming bastide are heavenly, with lovely sounds of nature and perfumed with the scents of Heather when awakening. The place is dreamy.

Location, cherished historic family home absolutely charming and characterful. Our host Jerome was the best host I have ever experienced...and I have travelled a lot. He was charming, generous and showed an astonishing ability for detail which was subtle but really noticeable if you could be observant. I stayed four nights but could have spent four months and still would have continued to enjoy this place, in fact staying longer would have made me not want to leave....that is how profoundly comfortable I felt at Pavillion de Beauregard. I would return in an instant. Jerome treated us to a chilled bottle of local Rose on our arrival which was like nectar...and really not expected! Furthermore, he explained a lot about visiting the town of Aix-en-Provence which proved to be invaluable and on two occasions he booked restaurant tables for us.

Isabel is exceptionally gracious, lovely and helpful. The property is historic with wide terrace perfect for wine or a nap under the old trees. Big views of the city but walking distance away. Breakfast was elegant and generous with egg, yogurt, croissants, bread basket, assorted home made jams. This place is a treasure.

Dominique is an exceptional hostess, friendly, helpful and charming. The house is full of character, and the suite is spacious and private. There is a large outdoor terrace overlooking the fountain in the garden. A good French breakfast is served on the terrace in fine weather. The house is in a quiet area, about a 15 minute drive from the lovely city of Aix. The accommodation is very clean and the bed was comfortable. Some reviews have mentioned the bed not being long enough. We did not find that at all and I am 6 feet tall!
