The location - little piece of heaven. The hosts David and Lorna, could not be more welcoming and the breakfasts are delicious The rooms are delightful - we had a slight leak in the bathroom, which was repaired quickly and with no fuss. Overall this place is very special to us and I would highly recommend.

Cosy and quiet place with a lot of history, "lawrance of Arabia" slept in our room long time ago and we were drinking our morning coffe at his favorite table by the window, where also Thomas Hardy, the writer, has been known to sit.

Absolutely beautiful hosts. Mel and Trish were so fabulous, knowledgeable and kind. Went above and beyond to assist and make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The breakfast was delicious and felt like home. Fabulous location with a very short walk up to the main Esplanade with plenty of options for meals.

Absolutely fantastic stay in an old quiet village. Beautiful house, huge, warm and comfy room with amazing newly decorated bathroom. I loved the coutryside stylishness of it. There was a Nespresso coffe machine in the room as well as kettle and selection of teas. The breakfast was great cooked by the owner who is also a pro chef :) the conversations we had with her were an absolute highlight! I will definitely stay again
