Great spot, nice view from the window. Quite cheap parking just behind the residence (1,2€ per hour 8-20 everyday also Sundays). Next to the parking there is a 'basket' attraction worth attending. Super contact by whatsapp with kind and helpful lady owner, all the instructions needed we got before coming.

Marina was very welcoming and her property was beautiful. We had a private room and bath and communal kitchen and living room. Marina arranged for dinner to be delivered and served us a wonderful breakfast. Staying at Pilgrim Rooms was a highlight.

If this is hell, we don't mind going again! The huge room, l'Inferno, is tastefully designed and warm, with a beautiful view of the hill behind out of one of the windows. The big bathroom feels luxurious and has a great shower. We got upgraded to this room as a surprise from Lucia who had reached out on Whatsapp before our arrival with very helpful information on where to park. Not only that, she warned us of a carnival taking place near one of the parking places so that we could avoid it. I had the best deep sleep out of my 5 days and 3 accommodations in Italy up to this stay. The bed is just so comfortable and the room is very quiet despite overlooking the street. The room has a thermostat which permits guests to regulate the room temperature. It has a fridge too. In addition, there is a neat small common area where guests can help themselves to coffee, tea etc. Lucia recommended 2 places to eat and we went to both for dinner & lunch and loved their food - Osteria dei Re & Casciamia, next to each other. She also recommended that we visit pretty Rasiglia - what an invaluable gem she has been! Her engaging & warm personality really add value to a place which already sells itself from the photos & reviews. Lastly, its very central location close to everything can't be beaten. We love Gubbio, we love l'Inferno di Dante, we love Lucia!

I was upgraded to a room with a toilet, shower and terrazzo! Breakfast catered for me not liking eggs...second morning I was offered cheese instead. Rocky (my dog) was made to feel just at home as I was! I would recommend this B and B to all travellers to Gubbio... close to the town but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet in the neighbourhood...Loved the amphitheatre close by. Get the owner to show you the book he wrote!
