It has wide, comfortable beds and a bar in the common area where the friendly host serves drinks like speciality coffee & tea, but also beer and Shochu. You can bring your own food and drinks too. You can rent his high quality rental bikes and see all the local recommendations for Sakurajima, so we couldn’t recommend this spot enough - an experience worth more than can be counted with money.

The building itself seems like a whole project consist of cafe, gallery and hotel, wonderful view from the communal balcony, very stylish and comfort interior design. We felt very very lucky to have gluten free muffins for breakfast! They are really well made.

Chief and Mikiro were great hosts. They made us feel incredibly welcome into their home. The breakfast (soup, boiled egg, fruit, fresh homemade bread, and coffee) was substantial and delicious. They go to a lot of effort to talk with you, and even though we know very little Japanese, google translate was a great way to talk with them both and enjoy the conversations.
