A secluded but relatively accessible location with a few stray kitties around the property. The room is cosy and comfortable with a foot bath you can enjoy after traveling. This is a really beautiful place. The room we stayed in was the largest we've had in all of Japan. Joe was a great host, he even set up glasses and ice buckets for my partner and I to sit in the dining room to look out to the garden, which we did every night we were there. Probably the best private garden in Japan. A fantastic stay.

Amazing! I wish I could have stayed longer. The hostel king is a really nice host! The hostel is a traditional Japanese home, very beautiful and cozy.
