It was absolutely a nice experience: besides a spacious room with a on-suite bathroom and with a balcony, it also included a (shared) fully equipped kitchen and a living room. We were allowed to park the car on the property because we had 2 bikes attached. Surprisingly, breakfast was also included, the first morning served at the property, the second morning at the owner’s pizza restaurant in town. The host was really a sweet man, only spoke Portuguese but managed to communicate with the help of google translate. This was absolutely value for money!

This property is unique, in the middle of the woods you have this great little place. Rooms are modern and good size. The main room can be used to relax and you can make your own food if you like. Breakfast was amazing and all done by Maria and her Mother. You have some dinner options which are a drive away if you dont want to stay there. Lots of hiking options around as well. Maria and the crew are just lovely and so kind; you can tell everything is done with love and care - can only recommend this place.

It's a beautiful house in a magical location, after waking up we had the most dreamy mountain views from the balcony. The owner gave us tomatoes and lemons from her garden, and even though she didn't speak any English nor did we speak any Portuguese she was the most wonderful host. Everything was very clean. I would recommend this place a thousand times over, the value for money is unparalleled.
