The place was newly renovated by the entire family and was very charming and welcoming. We had the smaller room but this wasn’t a problem as it had everything we needed. The breakfast was very good and the sisters running the place were lovely. We highly recommend!!

Beautiful location with outstanding views over the Douro valley near Peso da Régua. We had great weather and could sit outside and enjoy food and excellent wine by the pool during sunsets. Room was large and very comfortable. But the best was how nice, helpful and service-minded our hosts were. If we're staying in the region again, we will come back to this place.

There was so much to love. Behind a somewhat humble external facade on an ordinary street, the absolutely charming owner - Zilda - has created a stunning refit of an old building. There are bold modern touches but it all fitted in with original theme of the building. The rooms are modern and very comfortable. Our group (2 couples) were greeted with an invitation for sparkling wine on the roof terrace - which is also where a beautiful breakfast was prepared by Zilda the next morning. We would highly recommend - and would not hesitate to stay here again if we were in Lamego.

Very friendly and professional staff. Great Outlook and very pleasant surroundings. We did the wine tasting with cheese, olives etc, of which there was plenty. Very nice experience. We stayed the night and did the wine tour, brief but fine.

Greate location, 5 minutes from the main sightseeings. Very clean facilities. There is a shared bathroom that is very clean and updated. The bedrooms are plain but clean and cozy. A/C is located in the perfect place of the room and doesn't blow on you directly. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. The kitchen is small for four people but it has everything that you need to cook breakfast. The host is very responsive. Mrs. Fatima is a lovely lady. A welcome drink was very appreciated after the long drive.

The family runs the estate with its vineyard, orange trees and gardens. Guests have the opportunity to wander around, relax on the terrace overlooking the Douro valley, enjoying a glas of self produced wine or port and dive into a long passed time when taking part in the evening dinner. Definitely do not miss that dinner: It is home cooked, all guests come together around a big table in the old dinning room and the traditional French service is applied. Of course the dinner is accompanied by wines from the estate. A very special thank you to the lovely staff, who performs this service a an art! It is outstanding. I wish the estate with its owners and staff countless successful years, thank you for opening your house to us travelers.

Lovely guest house. Only 10 mins walk from the old town. Free parking in site. Shared kitchen, lounge and balcony we're great. Joana was extremely helpful. Lovely breakfast at nearby coffee shop. Rooms were beautifully clean. Would definitely recommend. 🙂
