The property is about a 30-minute drive from Funchal airport. The closest town (Ribeira Brava) is about 5 minutes away by car, but much longer walking, and there is a very steep slope up to the house. We really enjoyed the view, the pool, the garage (parking in Madeira is sometimes tricky to find). The house is exceptionally equipped and kept in very good condition. The villa is centrally located on the Southern coast. It's close to a North-South route across the center of the island, and also close to the East-West route. This means you are always no more than 1 hour away from all points on the island (even the most remote ones). One thing to note, there are not a lot of eating places within walking distance, but there are a lot of options in Ribeira Brava. We are definitely thinking about renting this place again on a future trip!

We have stayed in Madeira in different places and this was by far the best one we have had! It was super duper clean, fully equipped and the host was extremely helpful and very kind and put fresh vegetables and fruits of her garden in the kitchen so we can all have them!
