We chose this beautiful place for our stay during Ironman Klagenfurt. We wanted somewhere relaxing but not too far from the race venue and this was perfect. I cannot describe how beautiful the scenery is and our suite at villa stern had a beautiful balcony and private terrace area to enjoy nature at its best. The whole of villa stern looks newly refurbished with a mix of modern and traditional furniture, The bathroom is a good size with lovely walk in shower, the water pressure was great and never short of hot water.. we had a separate lounge area to the bedroom. Both the lounge and bedroom opened out onto the balcony all with direct views to the pool and amazing forests. It is absolutely peaceful. Every morning breakfast is served from 8-10am, but on race day they prepared it for us for 4 am. The hosts are a couple and they are fantastic. They are so accommodating and will do anything to help make your stay comfortable. The breakfast was everything from hot cooked breakfast, to cheese and cold cuts, to cereals, yoghurts, fruits, croissants and regional delicacies, as well as a great coffee machine and a mix of teas and fruit juices. I cannot fault the cleanliness it was immaculate and they change the linens whenever you wanted and organised the room cleaning when you wanted too. The hosts also provide trips to venice which is just 2.5 hours away or if you go in winter they can take you just 30 mins down the road to a ski resort. The Villa Stern also has some bikes if you want to take them out for a ride. There is a cycle track just a couple of hundred metres down the road so it's really convenient. Viktring is just 10km down the road and there you can find shops and restaurants, but you will soon come to know that the villages surrounding lake klagenfurt are full of places to visit and dine. We had a fantastic time and are coming back next year for sure.

Pension Auszeit Velden is gelegen in Velden am Wörther See, op 18 minuten lopen van Veldner Strandbad, en biedt accommodatie met gratis fietsen, gratis privéparkeren, een tuin en een gedeelde lounge. We only spent a night here for a road trip. But we can tell that the room was great, the bed was very comfortable. The communication and the staff were exceptional, and we also had a delicious breakfast. You can feel that this place has a heart who is the owner. Thank you for that, because it was a pleasure to be part of this welcoming hospitality. Parking was obvious and easy, also the self check in.

Enjoyit Rooms ligt in Velden am Wörthersee, op 400 meter van het Casino. Het heeft een barbecue en biedt uitzicht op het zwembad. It was convenient for our event at the casino

Happy Lake by Thomas Strugger bevindt zich in Krumpendorf am Wörthersee, op 6 minuten lopen van Strand van Parkbad Krumpendorf, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde... Family hotel, kind and nice staff. We arrived late and there was no one at the reception so we called directly to the hotel. The hotel manager said our room number and sent his mother to give us a key. The room is organized (with a baby bed) and very clean. There is a garden and even a playground for children. The next morning we met Thomas, who was very nice, introduced himself, brought us discount cards for attractions in the area and asked if there was anything else we need. The breakfast was rich and varied. Highly recommended hotel and excellent service.

Gästehaus Wrann ligt in het centrum van Velden am Wörthersee, op 70 meter afstand van de Wörthersee. Het beschikt over kamers met een eigen badkamer en een eigen strand aan de oevers van het meer. Kamer was goed er werd dagelijks gepoetst.

Haus Luca Seeblick ligt in Pörtschach am Wörthersee, op 5,5 km van Kasteel Hornstein, en biedt accommodatie met een seizoensgebonden buitenzwembad, gratis privéparkeren, een tuin en een terras. Goede uitvalbasis om alles rondom wörtersee te verkennen. Alle restaurants op loopafstand en trein op 5 min lopen.

Gästehaus Gertrude ligt in Velden am Wörther See, op 7 minuten lopen van Veldner Strandbad en 14 km van Waldseilpark - Taborhöhe, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis WiFi in de hele... locatie in het centrum, mooi dakterras, ligstoelen in de tuin beneden, overdekte stalling voor de auto. Hotel Garni Frühstückspension Neff ligt op een rustige locatie naast het bos en beschikt over een grote tuin met een zonneterras en kamers met een balkon en uitzicht over de Wörthersee. Very clean hotel with great view to the lake and the mountains. The staff was very nice and friendly. Breakfast was very good with fair variety of choices, even plant based milk and butter.

Het Landgasthof Trattnig ligt op een idyllische locatie, direct aan het Trattnigteich-meer. Het hotel wordt beheerd door een familie en biedt een restaurant en een terras met uitzicht op het meer. The hotel has a very peaceful and beautiful lake. You can enjoy it fully. And the staff of the hotel are very kind. Especially the food that is only served to the guests is wonderful. We will visit there next time.

Haus Kaiser bevindt zich in Schiefling am See, op 15 km van Abdij van Viktring, en biedt accommodatie met een seizoensgebonden buitenzwembad, gratis privéparkeren, een tuin en een barbecue. Everything was amazing. The location is very convenient to explore the different areas around by car or motorbike. The room had everything we needed, the view is beautiful and the shared big garden with the pool is really enjoyable. Special mention to the hosts who are super super nice, kind and friendly. We didn't want to leave! but for sure will be back to spend more days in the house :)
