Very nice small hotel in a remote place close to a little canal. Anyway easy to reach with car or Uber. The staff is incredibly friendly. There is any comfort you might look for. Hardly recommendable

I chose the pousada for 1) its location, 2) the rate, 3) the likelihood of more Brazilian clients (i.e., away from the hyped-up resort type of pousadas), and 4) the reviews. The reviews mostly praised the friendliness of the staff. That was definitely a selling point. I could not agree more. The staff is excellent throughout the entire facility: polite, willing to help immediately, has a good sense of humor, and always smiles. Plus, the pousada was quiet at night for a relaxing sleep.

The room was well equipped, beautiful, very sunny with a spacious and luminous bathroom too. The house is relaxing, it is quiet, bright, and located in a peaceful and safearea just a short walk from the ocean. The stay was perfect for anyone looking to relax and recharge while enjoying Cabo frio. Julieta is a wonderful host, warm, always available, and incredibly attentive. Her sunny personality truly makes the place feel welcoming. Breakfast was fresh, made to order, and full of thoughtful touches. It’s the kind of place you remember and want to return to. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Cabo Frio and looking for comfort, calm, and kindness.

The owners were friendly & kind, as well as incredibly helpful! The breakfast was huge and delicious and the rooms were comfortable. Wifi was also perfect throughout.

Pousada dos Pássaros Geribá is gelegen in Búzios, op een paar minuten lopen van Praia de Geribá, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een bar. We stayed in this beautiful Pousada for 3 nights to surf at Geriba beach. The staff was incredibly, genuinely friendly. The rooms are super cute, clean, all have their own veranda facing the nice garden and clean pool. It is very nice to hang out in the sun and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. The beach is only a 1 minute walk away and offered perfect clean waves with surfboard rental also for advanced surfers directly on the beach. We will definitely come back here if we come to Brazil again.
