We stayed from Sunday till Monday (one night) at Shima Davos for a cross-country vacation. We arrived around noon and got our room almost right away. The owner was very nice and spoke perfect English. The cross country tracks were right outside, and it would have been super easy to go for alpine skiing from there with the included guess pass for the local transport. Can really recommend!

Although it has no kitchen, there is a kettle and coffee maker as well as a small fridge which allows you to have a small breakfast before starting the day.
