Safe location and easy to walk up the nearby hill right into the center of downtown Castro. It was always very quiet here, especially at night. A nice experience to stay in a palofito (stick house).

Beautiful old building on a nice side street, renovated with great taste. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our 1 night stay. Loved the honour bar system and code-lock entry, which made our stay virtually contactless, but we still felt very welcomed by Carla who was in communication thru WhatsApp and available to take a photo of us as we loaded up our touring bikes to depart.

It was a wonderful experience staying in Quetrihue, feeling at home with a really beautiful view and amazing hosts. Pilar and Cristian are not only kind persons but also like you to enjoy every detail of your vacations, giving you great insight of where to go and how to get the most of Ensenada, Puerto Varas and around. Rooms and the entire house is clean, beautiful, with a lot of space and shining deco. The breakfast was amazing, nothing missing on that table in the morning for you to start your day. No doubt it is the best place to stay in the entire Puerto Varas. We like it so much that we are already planning to go back.

Literally like 1 minute to the coast from the hostel(walking) and only a few blocks from the artisanal market and to the towns’ busy area. The house was decorated beautifully and was very spacious. The host Raúl was very intelligent, well mannered, and informative. Though, I didn’t use it, he offers tours in his Hostel (penguins, the town, etc). Very good communication with him and he recommended us good places to eat and where to visit within Ancud and where to go afterwards. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was perfect. Private parking available upon request. Central AC in the house, so we slept nice and warm.
