The property provides homemade food prepared with fresh produce. We would return to Moganshan just to stay in the Bamboo View guesthouse. We need no other reason. The stay there was that spectacular. First off, the family that runs the hotel is incredibly warm, knowledgeable, and talented. They are fixtures in the community. The matriarch cooks the best food I’ve had in China, and I live in Shanghai. I would return to Moganshan just to have dinner at the hotel, especially for the cubed pork in red sauce. Everything is cooked and served with pride, love and the freshest ingredients. Though my boyfriend and I don’t speak Chinese, we had such a wonderful time communicating with the mother of the family. The daughter is a very active member in the community and was equally kind, as was the father . The daughter helped us plan our excursions and navigate trails. The highlight of our stay was being welcomed into the town’s New Year’s festivities. The room was also excellent, comfortable, large..the hotel is very conveniently located..everything was perfect.
