We stayed at Susu and Isa's newer location of the Atlantis Pyramids Inn that is right new the soon to be new entrance to the pyramids. It was only about 1 month old and was in great condition at the top of an apartment building with stunning views from the terrace where you hang out and have your breakfast. It was away from the chaos of the area where a lot of the Giza hotels are centered and we were SO thankful for that. Susu and Isa could not do ENOUGH to help us (taxis, guides, restaurants, etc( - and they were such interesting people to talk to as well. They breakfast was very lovely and filling. The bedrooms at the front of the property have views of the pyramids, but they look over the main road so if you are a light sleeper request a room in the back of the property. This is exactly they type of place I love to stay at when I travel - it has a very local feel and and outstanding hosts.

Our stay here was nothing short of exceptional, thanks to Dr. Susan’s outstanding hospitality. When we arrived in Cairo, my friend—whom I was traveling with—was suffering from a severe leg infection and had to spend his first night in Egypt in the hospital. From the very beginning, Dr. Susan went above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met. Starting from the second night, after my friend was discharged, he still required daily medical care. Dr. Susan made every effort to keep us comfortable, checking in regularly and offering invaluable support throughout our stay. Even after I checked out and left for Jordan, she continued to look after my friend, ensuring he received the care he needed while he remained in Egypt for further treatment. Her kindness and dedication made all the difference during such a challenging time. We can’t begin to imagine how things would have turned out had we stayed with a different host. Dr. Susan’s generosity and compassion truly made our experience unforgettable.

We really enjoyed our stay with Nadia, and even if the accommodation is a little out of the way, you can get to Sakkara relatively quickly by taxi and also a little further to the very worthwhile Red Pyramid and the Bent Pyramid. Every time you come back from an excursion, you have the feeling of returning to an oasis of calm. Everything is beautifully and lovingly laid out, Nadia is a great hostess and the food is delicious and the breakfast plentiful. We would definitely recommend this accommodation!
