What a sweet and welcoming experience! Sarah and Huge are amazing hosts who make you feel as though you were staying with old friends, whether you are chatting in the huge farmhouse kitchen or relaxing in the lounge. The bed is very comfortable and there’s plenty of hot water. Mind you, the bedrooms are upstairs, so be aware if you have mobility issues. The breakfasts are wonderful, seriously! You won’t leave hungry! They are also very flexible. We needed an extra night and they were easily able to accommodate our needs. They have friendly pups, so be aware.

The location is out of the way, but it is worth the effort to get there. The main room and bathroom were recently renovated (quality work) with high-end materials. It is nicely appointed, has lots of great windows and a bed that was very comfortable. The pub which is across the parking lot from the rooms is quintessential English pub with friendly staff. We had the meat pie and fish and chips and both were outstanding. An ale recommended by our server (after asking) was perfect.
