To get there, you’ll need to take a small local boat that runs every five minutes for just 10Q. This adds an extra touch of charm and adventure to your stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. While the WiFi is typical for Guatemala—not very strong—it’s enough for basic needs around 5-6 Mbps Overall, it’s a wonderful experience for those looking to immerse themselves in the tranquility of the lake and the warmth of local hospitality. Highly recommended!

Zapote Tree Inn ligt op minder dan 16 minuten van de luchthaven van Flores en op 4 minuten met de boot van het eiland Flores. Really nice hotel, with a view of the island. The staff were really friendly and helpful 😊 would very much recommend to anyone looking for a nice chilled out stay in Flores!

Woodpecker cabin ligt in El Remate, op 35 km van Nationaal Park Tikal en is voorzien van gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. Alle kamers bij het pension hebben een patio. Super cute, the owner was warm and helpful and the location was but peaceful and convenient to the village

We had two amazing stays at Ximel house! Hilda and Elvis are so helpful, kind, and accommodating. Hilda helped us do our laundry, stored our luggage during our 5 day trek, and even helped bring us to Flores on a 4:45 am early lancha. The area is lovely, calm, and a short boat ride from Flores. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Beautiful house and room. Very comfy and quite modern design. The place is walkable from the airport, but I would suggest taking a taxi if possible due to the harsh weather.

The location is perfect - nice for swimming, catching a boat ride, a close walk to get a tuk tuk, near yummy restaurants, it was clean, and air conditioning at night was perfect. There a cute and friendly doggo too :))
