The owner is an incredibly sweet and friendly guy and he made sure our stay would be as good as possible. The room I booked is a tatami room, with futon beds. The futons and the pillows were very comfortable. We also had access to a terrace. The bathroom and shower were great. Probably the first hotel where I had an actual overhead shower (there's an ability to switch between the handheld shower and the overhead one) The breakfast is one they make themselves, with vegetables sourced from his garden and homemade bread. It is incredible. As far as my stay in Kanazawa staying here was honestly the highlight. I got my accomodation relatively cheap, but whatever is being asked is worth it for the incredible owner, the authentic Japanese rooms and the amazing breakfast. Everything that's done in this hotel is full of heart.

Pension & Cafe Cruise ligger i Shika, 32 km fra Notojima Glass Art Museum, og har en have, et fælles opholdsområde og en terrasse samt gratis privat parkering. The couple who run the place are so, so nice, and were able to accommodate my friend’s food allergies without any problems (which, if you know Japan, you know that that’s not always the case!). Plus, the breakfast we got was huge and totally delicious. But the real draw is that the house itself is BEAUTIFUL. I can’t stress enough how charming it is- everywhere you look there’s some lovely tchotchke or antique to discover, all very lovingly arranged. There’s a huge deck outside where you can sit and enjoy the sounds of nature; a massive bath that you can share with friends/fam or keep all to yourself; a room filled with the owners’ personal collection of Showa memorabilia; etc, etc. The rooms were pretty spare but perfectly suitable, especially given all the lounge spaces in the house. Overall AMAZING experience.

Very well connected to other areas of Kanazawa as well as the main station The host and the staff were so nice to us, giving us lots of tips and making sure everything was fine. The check-in was super smooth and the stay very quiet and calm Shower was hot, the kitchen well-equipped and the room and beds comfortable

Kanazawa Guesthouse Pongyi ligger i Kanazawa, 2,7 km fra Kenrokuen-haven. Her er en terrasse og værelser med aircondition. Guest house Pongyi is exceptionally clean and organized. Nina san and Masaki san are welcoming and incredibly informative. I had everything I needed during my stay. Nights at 8 PM they had all the guests in amusing events like making origami or cooking Japanese snacks. I had the chance to socialize and learn about Japanese culture during the events. I highly recommend Pongyi house to anyone considering staying in Kanazawa!

B&B Mikawa 6 - Loft Rooms er et overnatningssted med gratis cykler og ligger i Hakusan, 22 km fra Kenrokuen-haven, 20 km fra Myoryuji - Ninja Temple og 20 km fra Kanazawa Station. The facility was clean and neat and the staff extremely welcoming and friendly. We appreciated it that the property allowed pets and our dog had a very comfortable stay.
