The atmosphere was really cosy and welcoming, it was great to have a common lounge to relax and 2 individual bathhouses for utilisation. There are some beverages and access to microwaves, oven, hot water flask in the lounge. Also, it is great that it had a small children section with suitable furniture. You can ask for the shuttle to a nearby restaurant but you will need to make your own way back. The bed and breakfast owner's family are staying in-house. So the owner is always readily available when called.

I will always return to this place in my thoughts. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. And as a bonus, there is excellent and tasty drinking water. If you are thinking about where to stay in Japan, this is the right choice. Just don't make the same mistake I did. We were only for one night. We have to come back here for at least 3 nights.

Takeru is absolutely the best, he gave us the best recommendations and was very nice. The hostel was very clean and cozy and the bed was comfortable. If we are in the area again we'll definitely come back.

At the bed and breakfast, all units have bed linen and towels. Everything was perfect. The B&B was very clean and bigger than I expected. The futon beds were very comfortable. We had a balcony that overlooked the river and we even seen deer a couple of times. Izumi the host was so kind. He brought us to and from the train station and even collected us from a restaurant one of the nights. The breakfast was delicious, kept us full all day long. Would highly recommend, and we will definitely be coming back in our return to Nikko.
