This was such a cool experience. The building is very nice. All the beautiful wood and features. Taking your shoes off at entree, sliding doors, gymnasium, kitchen. Amazing. Even more amazing was the staff. The explained every thing well, gave recommendations for food and travel. I even got lucky and hitched a ride back to Nakatsugawa, with a perfect pitstop at Hillbilly Coffee (highly recommend). I stayed here after walking Nakasendo Trail from Tsumago. Perfect place to stay after. Do not hesitate. Go here. Book!

熱海温泉 実の別荘 ligger i Atami, 19 minutters gang fra Atami Sun Strand og 27 km fra Hakone-Yumoto Station. Her er et fælles opholdsområde og gratis privat parkering samt gratis wi-fi overalt. Close to 来宮駅 Kinomiya Station just next to Atami. I could walk to Kinomiya shrine from the hotel. Nice view from the room seeing birds and squirrel and I could see the Hatsushima Island. It is very peaceful atmosphere around this area. The Hotel was clean and a nice big size. Private spring bath was great! There was a large window in the lounge room morning sun shine straight through. Owner of this hotel was very kind and helpful. I am very happy to find this Hotel.

A very kind and hospitable host who left us many thoughtful gifts — coffee, candies, and even ice cream in the fridge! The room was cozy and comfortable, and we especially loved the couches. The bath was a real treat after a long day of walking. We only stayed one night, but we wish we could have stayed longer — it’s such a lovely place!

長徳寺宿坊 Temple Hotel ligger i Shingu, 5 minutters gang fra Kamikura Shrine og 700 m fra Kumano Hayatama Taisha. Her er en have og gratis privat parkering samt gratis wi-fi overalt. I came late through the check in time because I missed the train and the host was understanding with me. The room was big, could be for four people, but I was alone and had all the amenities and was comfy. Would recommend if you plan to stay in Shingu.

海好きな大人の隠れ家下田ハウス ligger i Shimoda, 39 km fra Koibito Misaki Cape, og har en have, et fælles opholdsområde og en terrasse samt gratis privat parkering. The managers of the guesthouse were fantastic. There aren't any restaurants around the place without going near the principal place of Shimoda, but they proposed dinner. The night I was there we ate the fish that the man of the couple had fished three days ago, and it was delicious. I recommend this guesthouse.
