J-Hoppers Kumano Yunomine Guesthouse ligger i Hongu, 10 minutters kørsel eller 70 minutters gang fra Kumano Kodo-pilgrimsruten fra Kumano Hongu Taisha Grand Shrine. The hostel was fantastic. We rented a tatami room, which was spotless, very comfortable and with a really nice view. The onsen was amazing, we absolutely loved it. Everything was clean, there were snacks, eggs to boil in the onsens in town and all cooking and serving tools to eat them afterwards. The bathrooms were incredibly clean. This was our favourite stay along the Kumano Kodo, despite being the cheapest.

I made the best of friends while staying here! A bunch of people would come in to use the cafe so I also got to meet locals. I loved living here and I loved the vibe.

The house is an old Japanese house, with beautiful and clean design. The team was excellent and professional. The food was like a piece of art.

ゲストハウス シン熊野 ligger i Tanabe, 16 minutters gang fra Tanabe Ogigahama Beach og mindre end 1 km fra Tokei Shrine, og har en have. It was an old Japanese house it was really good to experience. The owner is also very accommodating and helpful. She let us check in early and you can also leave the luggage with her for free for a couple of days.

My family and I liked how spacious, convenient and warm welcoming our host was! The location was few minutes walking distance to local restaurants and family mart. It was also approximately 8 minutes from Kumano Hayatama Taisha and in front of the bus stop heading towards to Nachi. Our host, Sasaki-san, was also kind to give us an introduction to the place along with offering free icecream, beer and sake! Overall we recommend this place!

民宿 和合 Minshuku WAGO ligger i Tanabe, 2 minutters gang fra Kumanokodo Nakahechi Museum of Art og 29 km fra Kamitonda Concert Hall. Very nice host and the food and bento was delicious and perfectly made for kumano kodo. I highly recommend

AJITO Hostel & CafeBar ligger i Shingu, 2,9 km fra Ojigahama Beach, og har gratis cykler, en bar og gratis privat parkering. Pensionatet har gratis wi-fi og ligger ca. The room and facilities are clean. The location is very good. It’s near the bus stop and the convenience store. And if you wake up early like me and there’s no bus at that time, you still able walk to the Shingu station. The hostel has 4 bicycles to be borrowed with no charge. You can ride it around the city.
