Agro Village Resort, Kalpitiya ligger i Kalpitiya og har en udendørs swimmingpool, have, en terrasse og restaurant. Really cool tree house rooms on the peninsula. The host and cook is amazing and he makes delicious meals. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom is partially open air which was really cool. The hammocks and tables made it a peaceful haven. The pool was still being made when I went but it will be a really nice addition. I highly recommend this place.

Ombyggede 20-fods containere til fine værelser med badeværelse og balkon i træhøjde, så vi kunne følge med i dyrelivet udenfor. Ikke noget luksus, men fint og funktionelt. Super sødt og serviceminded personale, særligt deres hotel manager var et hit for stedet. Flydende engelsk, meget omsorgsfuld - super professionel. Udover safari i Wilpattu, var vi på Sunset Safari fra hotellet og på en guidet gåtur i området med en af de ansatte. En virkelig smuk og spændende tur, der varmt kan anbefales. Området er fantastisk smukt med rismarker, søer og regnskov - og masser af dyr. Og maden på Backwaters er et kapitel for sig selv, hvis man gerne vil smage rigtig srilankansk mad. Det var vildt lækkert og meget varieret. Vores varmeste anbefalinger af dette sted - vi kunne sagtens være blevet mere end 3 dage!

Elegant Hamlets Home Stay ligger i Chilaw, 43 km fra St. Anthony’s Shrine, og har en udendørs swimmingpool, en have og et fælles opholdsområde samt gratis privat parkering. This accommodation is very special and we felt like we were in an oasis of calm. The pool was perfect, the house is in a beautiful garden among coconut palms. The mini house is very well equipped for European style (we very much appreciated the separate shower). We really haven't found a single mistake. Too bad we only stayed one night, it was probably the best accommodation we had in Sri Lanka for a month.

Take a dinner with them, no many options in town!

Wilpattu Safari Resort ligger i Wilpattu, 32 km fra Kumbichchan Kulama Tank og 32 km fra Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi. Her er gratis wi-fi, aircondition, en have og en restaurant. Amazing location, just 15min Drive to the entry of the national park and as we were coming in the evening, we had an elephant crossing just outside our hotel. Such a good start of the safari. we took 3 rooms so whole 3 floors were ours. The staff was super friendly; they helped carry our bags and show us rooms. prepared dinner in advance. Quick response to all of our questions. Next morning prepared take away boxes for breakfast and lunch for our safari day trip. We had an awesome weather. So more elephants, tons of birds, alligator I think, and..... leopard. The only reason we visited this safari was to see leopard and it was a perfect choice. Not alot of tourists and we've seen everything we wanted. On a way back, last 10 min started to rain and the hotel staff helped up with bags again and easy check out. They were always helpful and kind. I read some other reviews saying that the place is under construction - but its not relevant. Yes, they started the business maybe couple of years ago and they do develope slowly but they try and work very hard to make us tourists happy. We had a group of 5 people, parents are senior and we all loved it and would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Mojo ligger ca. 4 minutters gang fra Mudalaipalai Strand. Her er havudsigt og en have. Dette overnatningssted ved stranden har en terrasse, gratis privat parkering og gratis wi-fi. Very friendly and helpful hosts. The rooms are spacious, beautiful, airconditioned and equipped with a great bathroom. You have a nice view on the kite surfing lagoon. You can easily cross the lagoon by canoe or take a 20 minute walk to the beach. Worth every penny.

This place is amazing. If you want to go to Wilpattu National Park, this is the perfect accommodation. We booked The Sanctuary half an hour before arriving and we were warmly greeted at the door by the owner Siraj. Siraj's passion for environmental protection is incredible. His knowledge of the ecology of the area is huge. Siraj and his team provided us with first class hospitality, beautiful food and a fully organized safari we will never forget (for a very competitive price). Extras like plentiful home grown bananas, a night tour of the grounds (seeing flying foxes and mouse deer) and free photos of what we saw on safari were the icing on the cake. It was a privilege to have stayed at The Sanctuary and we left enriched. I would not hesitate to return here in future.
