Very well maintained, tidy and friendly. Don't be put off by the shared facilities, they only have a few rooms and showers/bathrooms are very, very fresh (and you have water in the room as well). Nice breakfast, not a large buffet but everything you need. Do take this road instead of the tunnel and stop here! Good parking, possible to buy homemade dinner too. It tasted very well and was freshly prepared on order.

The calls of cranes echoing from the hills. The 1770 stabbur was very roomy and well-equipped with bathroom, kitchen, TV. I loved the history of the place—like a museum. Short drive to Bo or Lunde, Telemark. Torstein and Goril were charming hosts. I plan to return and recommend to my family.
