I think it's one of the experiences that luxury hotels can't provide to you. The house is in retro/vintage style inside, you're feeling like back in time to 60s. At the morning we had a tasty breakfast with homemade warm bread, some fruits, yogurts, cheese and sausages - there was plenty of choice. The hosts tried to be sure that we felt comfortable and welcomed in their place. I absolutely recommend this such a unique experience to everyone who visit Roros!

So very different from any other I've stayed in over the past 4 weeks I've been touring Norway. Exquisite and historic, the owners have beautifully and sympathetically restored a property to a superb standard, using and restoring ancient pieces of furniture whilst incorporating it sympathetically with new and modern. Great quality throughout. The location is rural, peaceful and quiet with lots of exploring opportunities nearby. And finally, the super helpful and friendly hosts made this a perfect stay.

The property is 700 metres from the city centre and 300 metres from Trondheim Central Station. The central location was fabulous, and everywhere was walkable. It was great to have the opportunity of staying in an old wooden house in the city centre, as these buildings are relatively rare in Trondheim. It was warm, full of character. As a single female travelling, I was initially a bit anxious - however, the house was warm, cosy, and VERY quiet! I only bumped into people twice over the four nights I stayed there.
