Clean and spacious room, with mosquito nets over the beds that allowed us to sleep peacefully. The only place where we didn't find any mosquitoes. The owner helped us with everything. The house has a large shared kitchen with everything you need.

The hosts were extremly friendly and helpful, organizing a river/birdwatching tour and a trip to Fathala Wild Animal Reserve. The breakfast at a long table was tasty and generous, with interesting talks. We felt at home.

Ok, this is one of the few special places that create memories from your trip, not just a comfortable place to stay during your trip. And not only in Toubakouta, but in Senegal overall. Visiting Keur Niaye is like spending a vacation in the country with your favorite aunt as a kid. This is thanks to Celine and Gilles, who created a beautiful place, gather their guests around the dinner table for warm and mind-opening conversations and inventive, delicious, fine home-cooked meals, who share incredible experiences of local life through their guided tours, while being highly responsible for the well-being of local community and nature, and, last, but not least - leaving guests, who don't speak French feeling comfortable. Thank you again, we appreciate the memories you gave us!

B & B Mariamacounda ligger i Toubakouta og har pooludsigt, restaurant, en udflugtsskranke, bar, have, udendørs pool (der er åben hele året) og terrasse. We really liked the B&B in general but were especially impressed with the excursions that were offered. David gave us a guided boat tour where we visited the small nearby island towns of Sipo and Missirah and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Jenny was also very helpful with the logistics (especially because I don't speak French!) and helping me organise our time in Senegal. El Hadj is their taxi driver and we organised pretty much our whole trip throughout Senegal with him - he was fantastic. And there are a few restaurants nearby with delicious food. The breakfast offered at the B&B was delicious. Thank you!
