Mook Raya Resort bevindt zich op 7 minuten lopen van Hua Laem Prao-strand en biedt een tuin en een terras. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een balkon en gratis WiFi. Great stay in an almost brand new resort, run by a very pleasant couple that speaks perfect English & German. Clean and comfy rooms and no trash lying around in the resort. Organised a tour and a transfer very efficiently. Situated at the end of the town and very close to the Money House Restaurant, which can be highly recommended (the resort offers a light breakfast - the yoghurt with an ice coffee was our preferred choice). It takes a walk or a short motorcycle taxi ride to get to a good beach from the resort. This is one of the best places we have ever stayed in Thailand, and they are still just setting up, so we assume it will only become better.

Beautiful spacious rooms, with excellent service. The hospitality and kindness of the staff but also villagers in nearby surroundings is like we’ve never seen before. I can say we’ve made friends and they will be certainly see us back at Villa Pateh one day. When we first arrived we really looked at each other wondering if we died and went to heaven. We had seen the pictures but the place was surreal as we walked around in the homely decorated house with the calm piano music at the background. As vegans the meals were something we were slightly worried about on the first day -when we found out they mainly served local fish and meat dishes at the hotel. (which I believe would be amazing for non vegans I’m sure) But the management were so kind and helpful that the next day they found delicious solutions to make the local dishes with tofu, tempeh, mushrooms and whatnot. If you want a taste of the real Thailand, want to meet local people and if you are interested in their culture and way of living then this is the place to be. I’d thought I’d write a book as review about how an amazing time we’ve had at this place but I don’t want to ruin other people’s first impression either. Let’s say it was one of the most surprising, unexpected and uncommon holiday experience of our lives. I certainly would’ve stayed a little longer to get to know some more of these lovely locals and experience some more of that simple happiness of just being.

Mook Heaven Bungalow is gelegen in Ko Mook en biedt een tuin en een terras. The staff were absolutely incredible and completely amazed us with their generous hospitality. We really felt like we were at home with them. The rooms were tidied every day, had functioning air conditioning and the breakfast each day was delicious. 10/10 for Koh Mook Bungalows - would highly recommend!

Baan Namthip Homestay Trang บ้านน้าทิพย์ โฮมสเตย์ตรัง is gelegen in Ban Huai To (1), op 26 km van Treinstation Trang, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een bar. If you want to experience local culture, this is the place to go. San is a great host, he knows so much about what to do and see in the area, you can ask him anything. He always does his best to help you. He also took us to the local elementary school so that we could interact with the kids, for them to practice their English. Very nice experience. He also did laundry for us for a low price and cooked us some home made dinner. Everything was perfect, I would gladly come back.
