The host is very kind and welcoming. The room was small but the view was amazing!! We saw the sunrise from our bed as well as our balcony. The storage area in the our room is cleverly designed so we actually had enough space for everything. Breakfast was great too! The scramble eggs were yummy!! And they make some really awesome cappuccinos! The hotel is clean and well decorated with fun tiles and details. We would definitely come back again when we visit La Marsa!

At the guest house, units come with a desk and a TV. Said and Faten were the ultimate hosts - think more how AirBnB used to/should be than unintimate hotel booking. We arrived very late with no internet connection but thanks to Said's great instructions and prearrival WhatsApp communication we found the place with no problems and Said was there ready to welcome us. The terrace area was very private and perfect for a glass of wine at night, which Said made us feel very comfortable to do in his back garden! Simba the cat kept us company and the roof terrace was perfect for a morning tea. We stayed in the smaller, double room. It was everything we needed for two nights but keep in mind it is small, intimate and the bathroom delivers little privacy :) There is parking right outside the secure and locked front door and the little town is just a few minutes walk away with plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants near the beach. I recommend the 360 rooftop bar in La Marsa for drinks (only a couple of places in town sell alcohol) and Carthage for a day trip (St Louis Cathedral is stunning). We would absolute stay here again - many thanks to Said for the warm welcome to Tunisia :)

We had a lovely stay here and the experience felt a lot like a mix between a hotel and a bed and breakfast. In fact, it really felt like we were simply staying in a lovely house and that we lived there always. It's a beautiful house and we had a wonderful room. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The concierge/manager Arij was so lovely and she and her team went above and beyond one night to make us a really special dinner experience in the house. Contacting her for anything we needed was easy and quick and she really cared about making our stay the best it could be.
