This place is the perfect solution for someone who needs to travel from/to JFK. It is also very close to a train station that brings you to Manhattan in just half an hour. It is a fully furnished basement apartment, with everything one could need for a short stay. The owners are really welcoming and helpful, and they provide pick up service at a very reasonable price.

The location is beautiful and it exceeded my expectatives. Wanda and her daughter were amazing hosts and made us feel welcome. The Room was clean and organized in details. The breakfast was delicious as well as the coffee.

The owners (Rob and Anna) were super friendly, accommodating to our needs, and fun to chat with. If I could give a 10++ it would be the breakfast. They have chickens that produced fresh eggs and there was a fresh fruit and homemade bread market right across street that we got to enjoy every morning. The areas were very quiet aesthetically pleasing to the eye from location to parking, to living areas and bedroom. Access to the home and room were easy and without problems. Highly recommend a stay there if you enjoy peace, quiet and a great breakfast!

Beautiful location, great room, brilliant staff. But that doesn’t do it justice. To feel at home to just help yourself to a glass of wine in the afternoon, the attention of the staff, John cooking you the perfect breakfast (but eggs Benedict 😄)… it’s the total lack of pretence which makes it great. I stay in way to many hotels per year for work but this is the only one which stood out in the last year. Just Awesome

We had a great time here, the room was well equipped and the host was really friendly. We could pick and eat some fresh fruits from the garden and the hot tub was also a great feature.

The Waltham: AirTrain & 5min to JFK tilbyder indkvartering i Queens, 7 km fra Arthur Ashe Stadion. Der er gratis wi-fi. Værelserne på pensionatet har kaffemaskine. I stayed here for just one night after flying into JFK. The house is located only 10 minutes walk from Jamaica station, which was very convenient for my late flight. Self check-in was very easy and convenient, as Ricardo sent me detailed instructions. The room was very cozy and super clean, but I was especially impressed by the luxurious bathroom with soft new towels, new beautiful snow-white satin linens, and the mattress was the best I have ever slept on. Although I usually sleep very poorly in new places, even despite the time gap and late check-in, I slept very well after a long transatlantic flight and was full of energy for a full day in New York. There is a well-equipped kitchen, but since I do not eat breakfast, I just drank wonderful coffee, kindly provided by the hosts, and grabbed snacks to go. Unfortunately, when I found this guest house, it was already fully booked for the following dates, otherwise I would have definitely preferred to spend my entire trip here. The proximity of the station makes the location very convenient for visiting Manhattan, and for the same price I could afford just a hostel there. Definitely worth the money. I recommend it and thank you Ricardo for your hospitality!
