Clean, cozy and homely with a comfortable bed. Nice bathroom with a hot shower. I really liked that the washbasin was in the room and not in the bathroom. Kettle and coffee in the room. Free water. Free bicycle, (and it was a good one), so you can easily see all the sights. Scooter for rent. My room had a little balcony where it even was a little table and a chair. The WiFi was very good. Excellent location close to the bus station for those early morning departures. Supermarket and a row of no less than 4 temples right across the street. Beer and sodas for sale, in the fridge on the 2nd floor. I booked 3 nights, which was good, because Soc Trang had surprisingly many nice things to see.

There are tours available and they took us to the morning market and gave us a cooking lesson of a local speciality. You have to book early as there are only 4-5 rooms- this is absolutely the best accommodation around here! Thank you Quan and Hanh who are both so kind, and Tuyen (handsome and funny)! It is rural, so you are surrounded by coconut palms and roosters, lovely to bike around the area.
