The staff was very kind and helpful, always asking about our needs. They were really customer-focused, we even got a small gift when departing, and even after check-out, when we had to wait for our train, we could chill 1-2 hours in a guest area that was very comfortable. A haven in the centre of Jaipur, Doongri House was calm, welcoming and spotlessly clean. It was the first time I had a reliable hot shower in over 2 weeks in India. The breakfast was tasty and quickly prepared. The room was large with ample space including a luxury of a dressing area space. It was also tastefully decorated. The pot filled terrace was sun filled and a beautiful place to come back to after a long day sightseeing. For the price, it was fantastic value for money. I also highly recommend the nearby Swinton House for a treat meal - beautiful fusion food and cocktails for a very affordable price in a beautiful setting. Just a 6minute walk away.

This is a one-of-a-kind establishment. I was hesitating to book as a solo traveller. Thought it would feel a little too personal and lack of pool. I loved this placed. The staff was so kind. Everything from the bedding to the water pressure was top quality. The restaurant ‘The Pharmacy’ is an absolute must as well. Location is is on a quiet, leafy street just a ten minute rickshaw ride from the center.
