I had an absolutely unforgettable experience at Yala Wild Hut glamping site. This is located close to Yala National Park. Accommodation facilities are awesome, and the Food is really delicious and full credit goes to the crew for their hospitality. Tea on the rocks, the bush walk and safari were the clear highlights of my stay. I had evening tea on top of the rock and the view was amazing. After tea the bush walk was equally amazing, as I got to explore the bush and its various plant and animal species on foot. The Naturalist’s guidance was excellent at pointing out interesting facts and details about the environment, making the experience all the more enriching. I had an outdoor BBQ dinner experience which was great. Early morning, they arranged the Safari with an experienced guide which was incredibly knowledgeable and took me on exciting and informative tours of the surrounding wildlife. He does personal guided tours of the national park and takes you to the best spots to watch and wait for Leopards and Bear. I saw a variety of animals, including a leopard sprawled across the road, a tusker, mud-bathing buffaloes, and lots of spotted deer, up close and personal. Aside from the safari and bush walk, the camp itself was comfortable and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Yala Wild Hut to anyone looking for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure immersed in the tranquility of the wilderness. Accommodation facilities are awesome. I would recommend the “Yala Wild Hut” to anyone.

Everything was perfect . The villa was fully equipped and luxurious. the staff was my favorite on the whole trip.They were always willing to help and always smiling. Priya’s property at Tissa was amazing. Comfort, cleanliness, nature, proximity to the nearby lake. Everything was perfect. Priya is a very educated host and a nature lover. He took us to the lake for birdwatching. He explained us everything about the animal species living there. He even took us to Tissa with his own Tuk Tuk to a cafe we had spotted. We were lucky to enjoy a full moon night from the balcony. We went on an early morning safari the next day and he had prepared take away breakfast for us. He also arranged our laundry. To sum up he did everything to make this experience magical. Our accommodation had the unique character of a local home. It was like it was personalised. Thank you Priya! Looking forward to coming again!

Lake Face Cabana is hands down our favorite place in Sri Lanka! We had an unforgettable experience here and we highly recommend this beautiful stay! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the wonderful hosts, who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. They spent time helping us plan our trip, offering invaluable advice about exploring Sri Lanka. Their two daughters and their playful kitten were the sweetest addition, making our stay even more special. The tree house is tucked away in a peaceful village, overlooking a breathtaking lake teeming with wildlife. We loved waking up to the sounds of birds and spotting turtles swimming by. The tranquility and beauty of the setting offered a truly authentic Sri Lankan experience. The home-cooked meals were simply divine—so delicious and served in generous portions! They also offer a selection of juices. Our room was very clean, and the beds were comfortable too. It is clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining the rooms and making guests feel at home. One highlight of our stay was the Yala Safari with Janaka Safari. This is also a family business and the hosts can help organise. We highly recommend this company.

We had a great stay at Cool Nest Yala. Anu, the host, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and more. When we arrived, he showed us around the apartment and gave us a detailed explanation of where everything was. The included breakfast was one of the best we had in Sri Lanka, and the dhal was THE best in our whole 2.5 week stay. The apartment had two comfortable bedrooms with great beds and AC. The living space was comfortable and we spent an entire rainy day lounging inside with ease. The mosquitos stayed out of the bedrooms but we had nets just in case. We appreciated the extras, like drinking water, coffee and tea ingredients, and toiletries. We got to spend time with his adorable daughter! Anu gave our kids a keepsake to take home and we will always remember this stay!

Very nice and comfortable place. the staff are very well taken care of and prepare breakfast before an early safari. at the same time, the staff is also invisible, so you feel that the whole villa belongs to you (if there are no other guests). we spent most of our time on the terrace by the pool, meaning in the common area, which was very nice to be around.

Absolutely stunning place. Well designed. Having just been to Marrakech in Morocco, this resort reminded us of a luxurious Riad! Excellent food, super pleasant staff and helpful owner! Perfect springboard for Yala. Our excellent safari driver, Mari, turned out to be a perfect leopard spotter (organised by My Village)
