Not exactly in the centre but a great location nonetheless! The room was super comfortable and the staff very friendly. I wish I’d had more time to stay there and use the deck that overlooks the estuary!

Literally like 1 minute to the coast from the hostel(walking) and only a few blocks from the artisanal market and to the towns’ busy area. The house was decorated beautifully and was very spacious. The host Raúl was very intelligent, well mannered, and informative. Though, I didn’t use it, he offers tours in his Hostel (penguins, the town, etc). Very good communication with him and he recommended us good places to eat and where to visit within Ancud and where to go afterwards. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was perfect. Private parking available upon request. Central AC in the house, so we slept nice and warm.

Lovely hostel with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I loved the kitchen - big, homey, and filled with everything you need to cook. The staff wonderful - helpful, patient, and kind! The hostel arranged a penguin tour and kayaking tour for me - both a lot of fun. The hostel is located right across the street from Bus Sur Station so if you are planning to travel here by bus from Castro or Puerto Montt, take Bus Sur! It's alos located just a few blocks from the shore and from many restaurants, supermarket, and cafes.

Cabañas Lomas de Ten Ten ligger ved stranden i Castro, 18 km fra Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de los Dolores kirke og 26 km fra Iglesia Nuestra Señora del Rosario. La vista, hermosa. Todo impecable.

This is, without a doubt, the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at in my entire traveling history, and I’ve visited over 50 countries! The house itself is stunning, filled with beautiful artwork in every corner, creating a warm and creative atmosphere. Everything is impeccably clean, and the location is perfect for exploring. But what made my experience truly unique and unforgettable was the host, Miguel. He is, if not the best, one of the most wonderful people I’ve ever met in my life. Kind, hospitable, generous, kind-hearted, cheerful, and easygoing. I don’t have enough adjectives to describe how amazing he is! Thanks to him, I learned so much about Chilean traditions, especially those of Chiloé, as well as its gastronomy and history. If I ever return to Chile (and I definitely will!), I’ll make sure to come back to Castro just to see Miguel again. This place isn’t just a hostel; it’s a home away from home, thanks to the incredible host. 100% recommended!

Palafito del Carpintero har havudsigt, gratis wi-fi og gratis privat parkering og ligger i Castro, 18 km fra Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de los Dolores kirke. It's a modern renovated space that is as shown in the photos. It you are the only one there it is quiet and peaceful. The pellet stove heats the place up nicely. The view from the wall to wall windows is wonderful. Cecila, who delivers breakfast everyday, is very kind and helpful. There is a restaurant next door and other places to eat along the waterfront.

Cabañas Reflejo de Luna ligger i Castro med havudsigt. Her er en have, et privat strandområde og en terrasse. Der er også gratis wi-fi. It is the nicest cabana we have stayed in Chiloe! There is a wonderful view. You can walk down to the water. The cabana is comfortable. We love seeing the rising sun and rising moon that reflects off the water.
