Het interieur is gebouwd van hout en steen en ingericht in verschillende exotische stijlen.... Het is een geweldig verblijf, vooral voor gezinnen met kinderen. Je kunt je op het resort prima vermaken. Ontbijt was goed en ook het restaurant beviel ons prima. Personeel was heel vriendelijk. Alles was prima verzorgd.

De accommodatie is bekroond met The Best Guesthouse of 2017 Award.... The room was lovely. It was larger than we expected -- two rooms (and one had some parts of a ceiling mural from Medieval times). Both rooms had heaters, which were both needed and welcome. The beds were super comfy. A very cozy apartment for a really good price. The staff was friendly, spoke English (though we had enough Czech to communicate with them as well). The location was just off the central square, so fairly convenient to everything in the center.

A charming little place in the middle of nowhere with a rustic but modern charme. Owned by a very friendly couple and their two dogs. The language barrier could be overcome with google translate and gestures. We felt very welcome and enjoyed our stay a lot.

We arrived at Dvůr Bude seeking a retreat for the long May weekend. Upon arrival, the place seemed a bit rustic, with accommodation in the former staff building. In the end, we spent nearly the entire time in the castle's garden. The place is mesmerising, with the old castle towering over the surrounding landscape from the side of the river. Peacocks and cats roamed freely, and we truly felt as if we had entered some magical place. The garden is an extension of the castle’s courtyard and can be visited at any time of day, offering many quiet nooks to sit, relax, or enjoy a conversation. The owner of the site is very friendly and a truly passionate individual. He singlehandedly chose to renovate the castle, and you can see his devotion in the work. We took a tour inside the palace, with the owner telling us both about the history he pieced together over the years and explaining the details of the restoration. He was also a very accommodating and helpful host, making sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. There are many paths in the area—it's a true treasure if you enjoy taking strolls through both well-trodden and more hidden ways. It is an especially good place for a quiet retreat. There is a small pasture on the hillside of the castle with a donkey and several sheep. There are many spots where you can sit in peace and read a book under the palace walls. There’s a nice tavern in the village centre, just a few steps from the castle. We unfortunately didn’t have bicycles, but we’ll surely bring them next time. We are definitely looking forward to visiting again, especially to check out the theatre festival the owner (an actor himself) organises in the summer. The stay was truly remarkable. If you’re looking for a hidden gem, visit this place.
