We had a wonderful visit. The resort is located immediately outside the National Park, so the location is perfect. The room was comfortable and well equipped. The area is quiet and you can hear the birds and the jungle sounds (we even heard an elephant!) The resort is family run and the host, his wife and two sons were very friendly and helpful. The meals were good and (very) plentiful. We enjoyed a safari in the park with the host and there are walking paths on the lake outside the park where we saw lots of birds. Overall a great experience.

Truly amazing and luxureous accommodation, very close to Wilpattu NP entrance. The villa had everything we needed and more. Very spaceous with comfortable beds. The water in the kitchen and bathrooms comes from a purification plant at the house itself. Washingmachine was helpfull and the full day safari was well arranged with a nice guide and lovely breakfast/lunch. Though the private pool was truly inviting, we didn't use it because of very bad weather. Therefor we enjoyed the beds upstairs to the max, reading and relaxing by listening to the sound of the rain on the roof. Was nice...making the best of it. Absolute highlight was Manju, the caretaker and his lovely wife. They not only prepared the nicest meals for us, but also were so caring and thoughtful. Nothing was too much for Manju, helping out where he could and making 100% sure we had everything we needed. Thank you! Kind gesture of the owner to offer us an extra night to stay, because of some floodings in the area. Because of the cyclone some roads were closed and we almost weren't able to leave (which we did anyway, arriving safe in Habarana). We wholeheartedly recommend Life of Leisure!

Ombyggede 20-fods containere til fine værelser med badeværelse og balkon i træhøjde, så vi kunne følge med i dyrelivet udenfor. Ikke noget luksus, men fint og funktionelt. Super sødt og serviceminded personale, særligt deres hotel manager var et hit for stedet. Flydende engelsk, meget omsorgsfuld - super professionel. Udover safari i Wilpattu, var vi på Sunset Safari fra hotellet og på en guidet gåtur i området med en af de ansatte. En virkelig smuk og spændende tur, der varmt kan anbefales. Området er fantastisk smukt med rismarker, søer og regnskov - og masser af dyr. Og maden på Backwaters er et kapitel for sig selv, hvis man gerne vil smage rigtig srilankansk mad. Det var vildt lækkert og meget varieret. Vores varmeste anbefalinger af dette sted - vi kunne sagtens være blevet mere end 3 dage!

Hos Wild Wadi Wilpattu - Villas with private Plunge Pools i Wilpattu er der pooludsigt, en udendørs swimmingpool, en have, et privat strandområde, en terrasse og en restaurant. Fantastic place to stay for so many reasons. The hotel itself feels really like a safari camp with wild animals and birds all around, there are monkeys and squirrels in the gardens. Each room is very private down a small path from the main dining room. The rooms are absolutely huge and wonderfully decorated. They have a large comfortable more-than-double bed and are well equipped with a fridge, air-conditioning and ceiling fan, hot and cold shower, tea and coffee making facilities, towels and robe. The room had huge windows overlooking the forest and its own private terrace and plunge pool perfect for cooling off after a long day. We had a sri lankan style breakfast which was delicious and we ate 2 nights at the hotel. I would highly recommend the seafood bbq, so much yummy food! The hotel is situated perfectly for safari as it is right next to the entrance to the national park so only 2 minutes in the tuktuk to get to the entrance. They packed us breakfast, lunch and snacks. Priyashantha joined us for the day and was fantastic at taking us to the best places to spot the wildlife. He brought along binoculars and books to show us the birds and animals we had seen. The jeep itself has a roof to keep cool in the heat of the day on the full day safari. I would highly recommend the friendly and caring staff, the beautiful peaceful surroundings and the very comfortable rooms.

Everyone was super nice. It was quiet and they accommodated all my wishes. I wanted to extend for two more days and it was no problem at all. The safari that I booked through them was amazing and the transfer that they organized was perfect. Happy to go back Thanks so much 😊
