Bright, modern airy rooms, large bathroom, good shower water pressure. Lovely central courtyard with many lounging beds, hammocks and a pool. Steps to a clean sandy beach, short stroll to many beachside restaurants. The breakfasts are hearty and delicious. We really enjoyed our stay, and extended it by a day as we didn’t want to leave this beachside paradise!

The house is huge, the neighborhood is very nice, kids out and playing until late, and it is a 20 minute walk to the main square of Leon. (There's also a c$6 bus that stops outside the front door, and taxis are about c$50). You get a look into parts of the town that are not the center. Breakfast was excellent and varied, and the Wi-Fi clocked in at 50Mbps so easily fast enough for Zoom calls and the like. If you have an oversized vehicle, there is a secured lot around the corner (in front of the basketball court) that charges c$30/day. The on-site garage will handle regular vehicles.

Hostal Ojo de Agua ligger 12 minutters gang fra Playa Del Tránsito Strand og tilbyder indkvartering med en have, en terrasse og et fælles køkken. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, quiet and peaceful community feeling. Intact mosquito nets for each guest were a big plus. Great stay overall!

It has stunning views and was so cute. loved Gretal! She’s amazing, so sweet, so kind, and so caring. She is a fantastic cook as well. All the food was delicious. She also introduced me to her family and gave me a few rides. One was to get my bus and another to Nimbu after the sun had set. I enjoyed practicing my Spanish with her as well. 10/10

Jon, Janelle and Lenny's (the boss dog!) place is well worth the stay. Their hospitality is warm, friendly and very helpful, the rooms and bathrooms are clean, spacious, and the beds are super comfortable. The common area and kitchen are really well stocked with cookware, and there's a little grocery store across the street as well as in the town. We loved the viewing deck for lounging in the day. The AC cost (if you use it) is also below the going rate for using AC in Nicaragua, and the ceiling fans / windows move the air around really well. We've been to El Transito a few times and it's by far one of the best deals / places to stay, we're going back again in a few days! You can also ask then questions about what to do and how to get around, they know the area very well and are really helpful.
