Medvik Högalid is gelegen in Strömstad, op 11 km van Daftöland en 35 km van Fredriksten-fort. One of the best, if not the best accomodation during our road trip -we stayed at ca. 10 different places in total over ca. 2 weeks (incl. some allegedly 4-star hotels) so we feel we have a good baseline. Whilst there is a bus stop across the street, you need a car to be able to commute comfortably to this location from Stromstad. The flat itself is well-equipped, excellently arranged and designed with a fully equipped and functional kitchen, and a bathroom with a washing machine, which was a big plus for us. The bed we used (there are two probably king-size beds in the property) was comfortable and we really liked the neighboorhood. We also enjoyed the balcony in the evening as the weather was excellent and the relaxing sound of the neighbour's water element was a great way to wrap up a tiring day. We would definitely return and recommend this place to others - keep up the good work!

By far the best B&B I’ve ever stayed at. The location is unique, with beautiful, quiet rooms and a modern kitchen, a great breakfast, and a very friendly English-speaking hostess. Definitely recommended!

Het Daftö Resort ligt op slechts 5 km van het centrum van Strömstad en biedt een zomerattractiepark met een buitenzwembad en een activiteitenhuis voor kinderen. This place was a very happy surprise in so many ways! We really did not know what to expect from a pirate-themed resort but we had a beautiful and very comfortable room. Mid-week and off-season, we had the whole resort practically to ourselves. It is situated on the water so we enjoyed a morning walk around the property. The breakfast buffet was fabulous! I can't imagine what the resort is like during the summer, it must be crazy busy with the amusement park. But if I lived near, I would definitely take my grandkids for a couple of days.

Place to be. Prachtig appartement in een rustig dorpje waar je een wandeling naar Uddevalla kan maken. Alle voorzieningen zijn er. Geweldige badkamer met alle voorzieningen zoals wasmachine en droogkast. Lete heeft het probleem van de wifi ook meteen verholpen. Zeer vriendelijke gastdame.
