We stayed at APARTAMENTOS MATUTE near Córdoba and had a truly delightful experience. Though the apartment itself is modest in size, the attention to detail and the host’s thoughtful touches could be felt in every corner—from the cleanliness and layout to the little amenities that made our stay more comfortable. What truly stood out was the host’s warm hospitality. Kind, responsive, and genuinely caring, they made us feel more like welcomed guests than just travelers passing through. As a bonus, the apartment is located in Almodóvar del Río, a charming town crowned by the majestic Castillo de Almodóvar del Río. If you make the short trip to the castle at sunset, you’re rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views and a golden-hour sky that feels almost unreal. It was one of the highlights of our trip—peaceful, romantic, and absolutely unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone exploring Southern Spain and looking for a cozy stay with a personal touch—and an unforgettable sunset to top it all off.
